My mother had a very positive experience for the 17 months she lived in assisted living at Encore at Turf Valley. She enjoyed the food and the activities and created many friendships with the staff and other residents. During her last days (she passed away peacefully at age 95) many of her friends and staff members came to visit and give her their loving comments. It's the people who make the difference. The administrative staff at Encore are knowledgeable, helpful and efficient; nursing and aide staff are caring, compassionate and competent; therapists are skilled, patient and motivating; support staff are always polite, friendly and efficient; activities staff keep residents busy.
