Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy focuses on the performance of basic self-care skills such as dressing, grooming, bathing and other personal needs during activities of daily living. OT is recommended when your ability to care for yourself, live independently or participate in the community is interrupted by an injury or illness.
Speech Therapy
Speech Therapy focuses on voice quality, language, cognition, communication and swallowing disorders. An evaluation and treatment by a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) may be recommended when you have difficulty communicating or understanding others, have difficulty reading or understanding written words and/or have problems swallowing food or liquids.
